More about Me
I have been in various roles that gave me the privilege of working with people from all ages, backgrounds and cultures. In these roles, I’ve walked with people through a wide range of issues* and with every person I encounter, I’m reassured in my belief that every person has all they need within themselves to face whatever they’re going through right now as well as everything they need to figure out what might come just over the horizon. All of it is there just waiting to be discovered.
That’s the same for you.
I graduated with a First Class Honours in Neuroscience (BSc) and later on completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. My approach to therapy is informed by the respectful and values-honouring ideas in Narrative and Collaborative therapy.
As my experience grew, so did my learning. I’ve pursued training in modes of therapy such as behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and strengths based therapy.
In my journey of learning and working with people, I find myself lucky and proud of running mindfulness courses for youth, adults and officers in prison; facilitating youth and adults through goal setting and mentoring; facilitating camps focussed on building leadership and community involvement; and working with children, youth and adults in journeys of recovery.
I am excited to meet and work with new people. If you think you’d like to work with me - feel free to get in touch now. I look forward to meeting you where you are and discovering with you where you might want to go.
